Absolutely scarce and rare antique Chinese Qing Dynasty pale celadon green jade vase with cover in a lovely baluster shape. The 18.5cm (7.3") tall covered vase with pale celadon hue has a baluster shape with a tight waisted area to the base and decorated with an incised relief floral pattern that depicts branches, leafs and blossoming buds. The cover lid is surmounted with a four sided knop plus while the vase is additionally adorned with a pair of fine pierced supporters. The present sensational Xinjiang Hetian nephrite jade vase measures 18.5cm (7.3") x 8cm (3.15") x 4cm (1.58") and it's quality, make and estimate has been confirmed by a major auction sale expert. In ancient times, families in China believed that such celadon jade vases will bring peace, richness and prosperity, as well as safety to the family and the place the vase resides. Absolutely scarce antique Chinese art collector piece and one of the rare carved celadon jade vases and objects.
