See scan - absolutely perfect condition. Absolutely NO cracks, dings, scratches or anything that might be negative about this most beautiful Art Decoratif / Art Deco sculpture. This is an original and authentic ivory and marble carved sculpture by the famous French artist Joe Descomps / Descomps Joseph Jules Emmanuel circa 1925. The sculpture is at a total hight of about 170 mm / 17 cm including the marble base. It depicts a young nude girl called Chloe having one of her hands to one of her breasts and the other holding a towel behind her back. The sculpture is carved signed / autographed Joe descomps at the base of the ivory near the feet of the girl. A true Joe Descomps Art Deco ivory figure / figurine lady usually is one of the scarcest Art Deco collector and most desirable items. Comes with COA and guarantee of authenticity. This type of a late 1920ies Art Deco Joe Descomps sculptures are very hard to find as they are unique works of European Art from that period of time. Similar Descomps ivory statue sculpture was sold about year ago at the French Boisgirard Auction House for $1750... Scarce collector piece.
